Editing an Alert

Before editing an alert, it is important to take note of the following:

Alerts can be modified at any time.

  • Changes to Alert Info and Device Info become effective immediately.

Threshold & Trigger Info

  • You cannot change the Alert Type for existing alert profiles.
  • Changes to the Time Period become effective immediately.

Action Info

  • Changes to Traffic Policy settings become effective immediately.

To edit an alert, click the Edit Alert icon for the alert that you want to modify, as shown below.

AerPort displays a pop-up window to edit the alert. Modify alert preferences as needed; note that the Alert Type cannot be changed for existing alert profiles. Click Save when your edits are complete.
